 Summary information about activities of Kazakhstan Federation of Professional Boxing

On 5 December 1989, professional boxing club "Kazakhstan" was created in Almaty, the president was Serik Konakbayev.

From December 1989 to June 1992 - development of professional boxing clubs in Aktau, Dzhambul, Karaganda, Kostanay, Semipalatinsk and Shymkent (3 clubs).
 
On 22 August 1992, Semipalatinsk hosted constitutive meeting of functioning professional sports clubs and on this date Kazakhstan Republican Federation of Professional Boxing was created.

TASKS AND OBJECTIVES
 
Creation of regional clubs of professional boxing:
 
Preparation of coaches, referees and judges in professional boxing; Improvement and expansion of the system of safety and health protection measures for professional boxers, and assistance to boxing clubs in order to implement appropriate supervision over professional boxing in the Republic of Kazakhstan,
 
1993 - joining the World Boxing Association (WBA);
 
1994 - becoming a member of the international Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Council (WBC);
 
In 1995 - on KFBB initiative, Pan Asian Boxing Federation (PABA) was created, the members of this organization becoming 20 countries, such as Australia, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, South Africa, Venezuela, Russia, Ukraine, and others. PABA champion automatically enters the WBA rankings.
